Christy Ivory
Program Manager
Christy Ivory joined BHN in February of 2023 as the EPICC Core Program Manager. Christy is a seasoned behavioral health professional with an emphasis on SUD services. Christy obtained a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Missouri St. Louis. In addition, Christy obtained a Trauma Studies Certificate and held an officer position with Phi Alpha Honor Society throughout her undergrad and graduate studies. Christy’s graduate studies focused on non-profit leadership and management along with integrated behavioral healthcare. Christy brings a wealth of Behavioral Health experience to the BHN family. Christy’s professional experience was honed while she was employed for more than 7 years with Queen of Peace Center. She formerly served as Lead Community Support Specialist and Training Coordinator where she provided training, onboarding and mentorship to all incoming staff members. Most recently, Christy lead the North Expansion efforts at Places for People while serving as their Clinical Coordinator. Christy is passionate about recovery and increasing access to behavioral health for vulnerable populations in the St. Louis area. Christy serves as a role model by using her personal recovery to instill hope and provide encouragement to those seeking recovery. In her spare time, Christy enjoys shopping and volunteering with other non-profit organizations in the St. Louis area. A fun fact about Christy is her and her daughter were both students at the University of Missouri St. Louis at the same time. Christy continues to support UMSL by speaking to incoming SW students to educate them about possible careers in behavioral health.
