Carol Jennings

Office Manager

Carol started at BHN in 2018 as an Administrative Specialist to assist the CEO. She has worked in the administration and accounting fields for several years and has extensive experience in these areas. Carol is a veteran of the US Army, where she served as a photojournalist and received several awards for her writing and photography. She also received a commendation medal for catching a Russian spy, but that is a story for another day. She attended the University of Nebraska, majoring in Pre-Medicine with the hopes of one day finding a cure for HIV/AIDS. Family obligations necessitated a career change, and so she put her love of office supplies to good use and started working in an office. Carol’s heart and roots are in the Pacific Northwest, and outdoor adventures are a passion. She was a member of the One More Time Around Again Marching Band for 20 years, only leaving the band to move to Columbia, Illinois, for family obligations where her wife was born and raised. The OMTAAMB is the largest all-adult marching band globally, taking up three city blocks and boasting more than 500 members. Carol and her wife have been together for 30 years. They were married in Canada before it became legal in the United States. They have two dogs and an extensive collection of Star Trek memorabilia featured on the Syfy network, Good Day Oregon, and several cable-access shows; additionally, they are in a book called Conversations at Warp Speed. Carol also collects Lost in Space and Firefly memorabilia and robots. Lots and lots of robots. Carol is currently attending Western Governors University to get her degree in Business Administration/Human Resources. In her spare time, she builds cigar box guitars and continues to enjoy nature photography.
