Jeffrey Woodson

Peer Coordinator

Jeff joined BHN in 2025 as the Peer Coordinator for the EPICC Program. Originally from St. Louis, he brings both professional and lived experience to the field of substance use recovery. Jeff is open about the experiences and struggles of his teenage years and young adulthood, including his relationship with opioids and addiction. In his openness, he speaks to the lasting recovery he found through 12-step programs. Since dedicating his life to recovery 14 years ago, Jeff has worked in various roles supporting individuals with substance use disorders, including prior roles as a Behavioral Health Technician and as a Community Outreach Worker. Jeff also worked alongside BHN years ago, when he served on the inaugural team of Recovery Coaches within the EPICC program. In 2017, Jeff endured a tragic fentanyl-related loss in his family, which he says reignited his commitment to this work. He demonstrates that commitment through his dedication to sharing his experience with others with the intent of supporting them in their own recovery. In his free time, Jeff enjoys indulging in music, art, film, travel, and playing the guitar – He tries to learn at least one new song on the guitar every month.
